Fox Sports Southwest

Intern

My internship with Fox Sports Southwest was vital in learning what it takes to work in the sports broadcasting/production business. With real-world work and hands-on experience, this internship provided in-depth experiences in broadcast, production and field work. During my time with FSSW, I worked in the ingesting room, the production studio, the live set, and at various venues for the different sports teams. My duties included logging games and ingesting video for company use, assisting with graphics, audio, technical directing, and producing in the production suite, and assisting at shoots on site for various shows.

ESPN Radio 103.3

Intern

This internship allowed me to broaden my knowledge of sports, and taught me how to effectively research and find relevant sports stories that will be included in the radio sports talk shows. I was also in charge of audio podcasting during live shows, participating in the planning of the shows, and working directly with the producer to assist in any way during live broadcasts.

I worked directly with JDubCity with Will Chambers and Jean-Jacques Taylor, and DAC with Tim Cowlishaw and Steve Dennis, along with producers Allen Faul and Tom Gribble.
